About The Role

The Electrical Engineer will play a crucial role in overseeing and supporting the overall process operations, with a specific focus on electrical systems. This role requires effective collaboration with sub-vendors, monitoring work progress, and ensuring quality checks. The engineer will be responsible for pre-work activities, including supervising standard practices and preparing tests with detailed documentation. Additionally, they will provide technical guidance and training to subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project requirements and quality standards.

  • Verify and ensure that all materials and components supplied match approved drawings and specifications.
  • Provide on-site training and technical guidance to subcontractors for electrical installation activities.
  • Inspect completed work to maintain project requirements and quality standards.
  • Prepare and issue comprehensive work lists to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Review and sign off on checklists submitted by subcontractors, ensuring accountability.
  • Monitor and control assembly activities, addressing and closing all punch items before testing.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering team to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Supervise standard work practices and ensure adherence to approved procedures.
  • Perform explosion-proof inspections and document findings accurately.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position or in the offshore field is required.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • A good understanding of electric systems integrated with structural systems is a must.
  • English language proficiency is preferred for effective communication.
  • For experienced applicants, a solid understanding of production systems, including structure assembly, hydraulics, and electric systems, is expected.
  • Sufficient technical knowledge, training, skill, and experience in the field are necessary.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex electrical drawings and specifications.
  • Experience with quality control and quality assurance processes.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills for effective collaboration.
