Reliability Engineer

Work Location: Perai, Penang

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement reliability test plans for qualification.
• Define reliability requirements and acceptance criteria in collaboration with design, quality, and manufacturing teams.
• Use statistical and reliability modeling tools (e.g., Weibull, MTBF) to predict product life and field performance.
• Support qualification of new products, materials, processes, suppliers, etc.
• Testing capability development and tester issue troubleshooting
• Drive continuous improvement of reliability methodologies, test coverage, and equipment capabilities.
• Prepare technical reports and present findings to cross-functional stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics, Materials Science, Physics, or related engineering field.
• Knowledge of reliability standards (e.g., Telcordia, GR468, MIL-STD, IEC).
• Experience with reliability testing, data analysis, and statistical methods.
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Good teamwork, communication and documentation skills.
