Job Description

  • Manage / Be part of a team of system analysts, architects, designers and software developers to deliver projects and change requests
  • Manage the whole life cycle of system development following UOBT SDM
  • Work closely with business users in change requests including requirements, testing and implementation
  • Design applications and ensure compliance with standards and procedures
  • Collaborate with UAT team to create test plans and resolve issues
  • Perform technical expertise in designing, testing and developing applications
  • Modify existing in-house applications when required
  • Prepare status reports, implementation task lists and rollback plans
  • Manage multi-vendor teams or UOBS counterpart
  • Ensure projects are delivered within scope, budget and schedule
  • Assist in production support to avoid business interruption

Qualification;

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in System Development, or System Analyst.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a leadership role, such as System Analyst Lead, Technical Lead, Software Development Team Lead, or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in managing the end-to-end Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and production support.
  • Strong knowledge of Java, SQL, and related application development technologies.
  • Solid experience in system analysis, solution design, and application implementation.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify root causes and drive effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with business users, vendors, and technology teams.
  • Experience leading and coaching software developers and system analysts to deliver quality solutions within agreed timelines.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
