Product Designer

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a high-impact design role at a fast-growing AI-powered learning platform used by tens of millions of students globally. You'll sit at the center of product development, working closely with engineering and senior leadership to shape AI-native experiences that raise the bar for what education software can feel like.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Own entire product areas end-to-end — from conception through delivery — shipping ideas to millions of students within days.
• Elevate every touchpoint students see, touch, and feel through exceptional UI craft and motion design.
• Build and scale a design system from the ground up, with curated components and rigorous quality standards that make excellence easy to replicate.
• Pioneer AI-native design by developing AI-assisted workflows and AI-native product experiences that change how the team researches, ideates, and ships.
• Set the visual and interaction quality standard for the team, making your work the reference point others aspire to.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Several years of product design experience with a portfolio that demonstrates work which moved metrics, delighted users, and shows genuine craft obsession — portfolio quality matters more than tenure.
• Proven ability to guide and mentor more junior designers.
• Active, enthusiastic user of AI tools (e.g. for prototyping, research, design review) — you see them as a multiplier, not a novelty.
• Systems thinker who cares about scaling quality across a product, not just building a pretty component library; familiarity with code-first design systems is a strong plus.
• Background in consumer apps or fast-paced product environments where shipping speed and quality coexist.
• Ability to simplify complex user journeys into experiences that feel obvious and effortless.
• Bias toward action — you reach for prototypes and experiments before presentations and debates.
• Builder mentality; bonus points if you've shipped a side project end-to-end or have ever opened a pull/merge request.
• Direct communicator who gives and receives honest feedback without ego or territoriality.
