About Chubb
Chubb is a global leader in the insurance industry, delivering superior coverage, craftsmanship, and customer experience. As we modernize and expand our digital insurance capabilities, we’re embedding data-driven processes, real-time insights, and design thinking across our value chain. We’re committed to agile ways of working and investing in the skills and tools needed for a digital future.
Role Overview
As an Technology Associate Program at Chubb, you will be immersed in a dynamic environment where artificial intelligence (AI) and large language models (LLMs) are integral to our technology strategy. You will actively participate in the development of innovative user interfaces, applications, and APIs, using modern frameworks and programming languages. Beyond traditional software engineering, you will learn to harness AI-powered tools and LLM APIs to streamline development processes, automate tasks, and enhance product quality. This role is ideal for individuals eager to build expertise in AI-driven engineering, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to impactful projects that shape the future of digital insurance.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business and technology teams to identify opportunities for improvement and help refine and prioritize user stories.
- Participate in design and code reviews, performance testing, test automation, and unit testing.
- Apply LLM-based tools to generate boilerplate code, scaffold test cases, produce documentation, and accelerate code reviews.
- Learn the basics of working with LLM APIs.
- Learn from peers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
- Support a data-driven culture by encouraging critical thinking and innovation.
- Work in an agile environment to deliver solutions quickly and iteratively
What We Offer
- Special training opportunities, including travel to Greece and Monterrey for hands-on AI training with Chubb teams. You’ll help develop AI models and agents as part of a global, innovative community.
- Exposure to cutting-edge technology and real-world business challenges.
- A supportive, agile, and diverse work environment focused on continuous learning and growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 0–1 years of relevant experience (recent graduates welcome).
- Basic knowledge or exposure to programming languages and frameworks (e.g., C#, .NET, Angular, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Python).
- Experience with or knowledge of AI-assisted development tools.
- Basic understanding of how large language models (LLMs) work at a conceptual level: their capabilities and limitations, how context windows and prompting affect output quality, and where human validation is required.
- Ability to write clear, structured prompts that produce useful, targeted outputs — and to iterate on prompts for improved results.
- AI-native mindset: You treat AI tools as essential infrastructure, not novelty, and have informed opinions about which tools work best.
Additional Skills
- Strong collaboration, creativity, and intellectual curiosity.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Adaptable, self-motivated, and eager to learn.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
