As a Maintenance Planner & Reliability Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, availability, and compliance of manufacturing and utility assets that support the production of life-saving medicines. By partnering with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Site Leadership teams, you will help maintain a safe, compliant, and high-performing operation while driving continuous improvement throughout the site

What You Will Achieve

In this role, you will

  • Lead reliability and maintenance activities to ensure operational equipment supports production and laboratory performance.
  • Develop, execute, and continuously improve preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
  • Establish reliability, calibration, and technical documentation objectives aligned with site and departmental goals.
  • Manage maintenance planning and scheduling to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with Pfizer requirements.
  • Monitor maintenance activities and ensure all work is performed in accordance with GMP, safety, and data integrity principles.
  • Approve maintenance work order estimates and scheduling activities while maintaining budget discipline.
  • Support spare parts management programs to ensure critical components are available when needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, TPM, and innovation projects.
  • Lead, coach, and develop team members to improve performance, engagement, and compliance culture.
  • Promote continuous improvement initiatives and serve as a role model for quality, safety, and data integrity excellence.

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Experience leading, engaging, and developing teams in dynamic operational environments.
  • Understanding of maintenance planning, reliability programs, calibration activities, and technical documentation management.
  • Experience managing maintenance operations and associated procedures.
  • Knowledge of spare parts management and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Understanding of Good Data Management and Data Integrity principles.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)

  • Certified Six Sigma Yellow Belt.
  • Lean Manufacturing training or certification.
  • Experience in aseptic manufacturing operations.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical equipment reliability and maintenance optimization.
  • Experience implementing Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives.
  • Experience leading continuous improvement and operational excellence projects.
  • Experience using AI-powered tools such as Microsoft Copilot or ChatGPT to improve productivity, problem-solving, and decision-making while adhering to responsible AI practices. (Suggested enhancement aligned with current Pfizer recruitment style.)
