About The Role

As a FOS Collection Executive, you will play a vital role in our Collections department, focusing on First-Party Outbound Sales (FOS) activities. Your primary objective is to engage with customers, negotiate payment plans, and ensure timely debt recovery. This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in customer engagement and debt management, contributing to the overall success of the company's collections strategy.

  • Initiate contact with customers via phone, email, or other communication channels to discuss outstanding debts.
  • Negotiate and agree on suitable payment plans, considering the customer's financial situation and the company's recovery goals.
  • Maintain accurate records of all collection activities, including call logs, emails, and payment arrangements.
  • Monitor and follow up on payment plans to ensure timely and complete debt recovery.
  • Collaborate with the collections team to develop effective strategies for FOS activities.
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive and professional experience during collection calls.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in debt recovery to enhance collection strategies.
  • Escalate complex or sensitive cases to the appropriate team leads or managers for further action.
  • Maintain a high level of data privacy and security, adhering to company policies and regulations.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent qualification is required.
  • Previous experience in a collections or customer service role is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple accounts and payment plans.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite and CRM systems for record-keeping and data management.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a high volume of calls and cases.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • A positive and professional attitude, with a customer-centric approach.
  • Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new collection strategies and industry developments.
