Sterile Processing Technician, Dermatology

We are seeking a part-time Sterile Processing Technician to join our team at the Fort Missoula Physician's Building 3 location.

Schedule: approx. 16 hours per week M - F (every other Friday), no evenings or weekends

The Sterile Processing Technician will

• Collect used and contaminated instruments for sorting and decontamination
• Operates and maintains decontamination equipment
• Monitors and operates sterilization equipment and maintains supplies
• Examines supplies to ensure quality and cleanliness
• Maintains records for sterilization instruments and processes sterilized items
• Sterilizes, sorts, wraps and organizes equipment into instrument trays
• Manually cleans equipment and supplies

Minimum Requirements of the Sterile Processing Technician position

• CNA or some clinical experience preferred
• Experience with sterilization equipment preferred

• The successful Sterile Processing Technician candidate will be subject to a background check.
