About The Role

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Lead the Value Creation Operating System by managing the set targets for Business Units with a structured governance, prioritization process, and reporting cadence across Revenue Growth, Continuous Improvement & Automation, AI, and Organizational Effectiveness for the Enterprise view
  • Facilitate Opportunity Identification and Prioritization with Business Unit Presidents and functional leaders, ensuring initiatives align to strategy, business impact, scalability, and value potential.
  • Drive Execution Discipline and Traction by establishing project governance, milestones, accountability routines, issue escalation, and regular reviews to maintain momentum and accelerate delivery.
  • Monitor Value Realization by partnering with Finance, CI, AI, HR and Commercial Excellence initiative owners to track performance, measure benefits, identify gaps, and provide transparency on results versus plan.
  • Enable Leadership Accountability by ensuring initiative owners have clear targets, success measures, executive sponsorship, and action plans in place. Business leaders retain ownership of outcomes and benefit realization.
  • Support Adoption and Change by partnering with HR, IT, CI and Commercial leaders, and business teams to build capability, communicate progress, remove barriers, and sustain new ways of working.
  • Provide Enterprise Visibility through dashboards, monthly business reviews, Steering Committee updates, and executive reporting to support decision-making and resource allocation.
  • Scale Best Practices Across Samuel by identifying successful initiatives, facilitating knowledge sharing, and driving replication where enterprise value can be created.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of progressive manufacturing and/or operations leadership experience.
  • Multi-site industrial or manufacturing experience.
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to connect operational activities to financial outcomes.
  • Operational excellence, Lean, Continuous Improvement, and productivity improvement expertise.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale business transformation initiatives.
  • Excellent influential and communication skills with senior executives without direct authority.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Comfort operating across operations, finance, IT, HR, commercial, and executive leadership teams.
