About The Role
Murthy brings over 20 years of experience in finance, business planning, mergers and acquisitions, financial management, governance, and business transformation across leading organisations. As Advisor and Group Financial Controller, Murthy will work closely with the leadership team to strengthen the Group's financial management, support business decisions, improve financial performance, and help drive long-term growth across our businesses.
- Work closely with the leadership team to develop and implement financial strategies that align with the Group's goals and objectives.
- Strengthen financial management practices across the organization, ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices.
- Support business decisions by providing accurate and timely financial analysis and insights.
- Improve financial performance through cost optimization, revenue enhancement, and efficient resource allocation.
- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Collaborate with various business units to understand their financial needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in finance and accounting, and drive innovation within the organization.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external auditors, and regulatory bodies.
- A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required, with a preference for a master's degree or professional qualification (e.g., CPA, CFA).
- Over 20 years of experience in finance, business planning, and financial management, with a proven track record of success.
- Demonstrated expertise in mergers and acquisitions, governance, and business transformation.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to guide and develop a team of finance professionals.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Experience in working with diverse business units and understanding their unique financial needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively.
- A results-driven and proactive approach to work, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- A commitment to ethical practices and maintaining the highest standards of integrity.
