Assistant coaches for Cross Country camp are responsible for supervising and coaching children ages 14-18 during camp. Assistant Coaches are expected to provide a fun learning environment while also ensuring campers are safe. The position requires the ability to teach the fundamentals of distance running and to work well with others in a professional manner.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Oversee campers and ensure a safe environment while they are on Keene State's Campus
  • Engage with campers in a professional manner while creating a fun and inviting environment.
  • Assist teaching basic distance running skills and knowledge
  • Communicating group news and plans with camp administration
  • Being able to adjust to daily schedules and work with others

Requirements

Minimum Acceptable Education & Experience

  • Running Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work with others

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Assist teaching the technical and knowledge of distance running

Compensation Pay Range

$ 15 per hour
