Assistant coaches for Cross Country camp are responsible for supervising and coaching children ages 14-18 during camp. Assistant Coaches are expected to provide a fun learning environment while also ensuring campers are safe. The position requires the ability to teach the fundamentals of distance running and to work well with others in a professional manner.

Duties/Responsibilities

Oversee campers and ensure a safe environment while they are on Keene State's Campus
Engage with campers in a professional manner while creating a fun and inviting environment.
Assist teaching basic distance running skills and knowledge
Communicating group news and plans with camp administration
Being able to adjust to daily schedules and work with others

Requirements

Minimum Acceptable Education & Experience

Running Experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to work with others

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Assist teaching the technical and knowledge of distance running

Compensation Pay Range

$ 15 per hour
