Hygiene Assistant (Full-Time, 24 Hours) – East Cobb Family Dentistry

East Cobb Family Dentistry is seeking a compassionate, motivated Hygiene Assistant to join our growing team! This position offers a Thursday through Saturday schedule (24 hours/week) while still being considered full-time , providing an excellent work-life balance with comprehensive benefits.

Schedule

• Thursday – Saturday
• 24 hours per week
• Full-time status with benefits
• Additional days may be available in the future for those interested.

What You'll Do

• Prepare patients for hygiene appointments.
• Take digital radiographs and intraoral images as needed.
• Set up and break down treatment rooms.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols.
• Assist hygienists with patient flow and clinical procedures.
• Chart existing conditions and update patient records.
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene and home care.
• Ensure operatories are fully stocked and ready for each patient.
• Deliver a warm, welcoming experience for every patient.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of dental assisting or hygiene assisting experience preferred.
• Current Dental Assistant credentials and X-ray certification as required by Georgia regulations.
• Experience with Open Dental software preferred.
• Experience with iTero scanners preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented practice.
