Explore our businesses: <https://www.honeywellaerospace.com> Electronic Solutions develops the avionics, navigation systems, sensors and electromagnetic defense technology that help aircraft perform safely and with precision. Our systems are on board 90% of the world's aircraft, serving commercial aviation, defense and space operators from integrated flight deck platforms with 30-plus years in service to radiation-hardened systems trusted for human spaceflight. The Training Solutions organization delivers Avionics Training Solutions to external Honeywell customers, who integrate these solutions into comprehensive training platforms for airline operators. Our team rehosts Silver Label builds of certified avionics software, including FMS, Displays, SVS, MWF, ECLF, CMF, and TAWS , along with associated display controllers and failure-scenario capabilities. These solutions are integrated into Full Flight Simulators (FFS) and used for pilot training. The rehosted software complies with ARINC 610 specifications and incorporates simulator-specific features that are essential for training system requirements. We also provide Epic/Apex Aircraft Simulation Environment (EASE) based avionics rehost solutions for Display products on Windows-based development and test environments. In addition, we deliver Product Familiarization Solutions that allow customers and pilots to gain hands-on experience with Honeywell avionics products on Windows platforms and handheld devices. Advanced Software Engineer Role: We are seeking a Technical Lead to own the technical solution for the EASE Simulation Platform . The role involves leading the porting and integration of RTOS-based avionics applications into a PC-based environment. The EASE platform is used for Software Development, Verification and Validation, Pilot Training, Advanced Technology Prototyping. The Technical Lead will be responsible for driving the overall technical architecture, solution design, integration strategy, and execution across multiple simulation and rehosting projects while working closely with product, engineering, and customer-facing teams.

Strong programming, debugging, and problem-solving skills in C and C++ . Good knowledge of DEOS and Windows Operating Systems , with the ability to redesign, optimize, and enhance simulation solutions. Good understanding of Displays & Graphics or Flight Management System (FMS) functions. Experience with EASE is highly desirable. Experience in C# and OpenGL programming is an added advantage. Ability to rapidly learn new technologies and deliver prototypes across different platforms and devices. Strong customer focus with a proven ability to provide rapid problem resolution and high-quality solutions. Willingness to travel onsite to support, troubleshoot, and train customers as needed. Drive key initiatives to improve cost, quality, and cycle time while ensuring successful project execution. Foster innovation and identify new opportunities in simulation technologies and solutions. Serve as a technical mentor to less experienced engineers, helping them develop their product, process, and tool expertise. Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Electronics, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline. 4 to 7 years of experience across various application domains, preferably in avionics systems and functions. Good understanding of Displays & Graphics or Flight Management System (FMS) functions. Experience with EASE is highly desirable. Experience in C# and OpenGL programming is an added advantage
