Design Engineer

The Design Engineer will be responsible for reviewing, coordinating, monitoring, and managing all civil and structural design activities for large-scale building projects from a Project Management Consultancy (PMC) perspective. The role involves ensuring that designs are technically sound, compliant with applicable codes and standards, aligned with project requirements, and delivered within approved schedules.

Review civil and structural drawings, calculations, specifications, and design reports submitted by consultants. Ensure design deliverables comply with project requirements, local regulations, building codes, and client standards. Identify design gaps, inconsistencies, and constructability issues and recommend corrective actions. Monitor design progress against approved design schedules and milestones. Participate in design review workshops and technical coordination meetings. Coordinate with architects, MEP consultants, structural consultants, geotechnical consultants, and other stakeholders. Facilitate multidisciplinary design integration and resolve design interface issues. Ensure timely incorporation of client comments and PMC observations into design deliverables. Ensure adherence to applicable codes, standards, and statutory requirements. Review designs for quality, safety, functionality, sustainability, and maintainability.

B.E. - Civil Engineering 10 years of experience in Design with High rise residential projects with at least 1 project G+40. Experience in high-rise residential, commercial, mixed-use, hospitality, or institutional developments. Experience working in a Project Management Consultancy (PMC) environment. Proven track record of managing multidisciplinary consultants from concept to project completion. Familiarity with international design standards, local authority approvals, and construction methodologies.
