O’Brien® Glass is offering an exciting opportunity to join our Hunter Commercial (Heavy Vehicles) team as an Apprentice Windscreen Fitter located in Lambton.
This is a hands‑on role where you’ll earn while you learn, gain a nationally recognised qualification, and build a long‑term career in the Automotive Glass industry.
About the Role
As an Apprentice Windscreen Fitter, you will
- Complete the O’Brien® Cert III in Automotive Glazing through our Auto Technician Skills Development Program
- Learn to repair and replace glass on all types of motor vehicles to Australian standards
- Perform windscreen re‑calibrations for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS)
- Carry out glass repairs on heavy vehicles (Bus and Trucks)
- Deliver exceptional customer service
- Work professionally, safely and efficiently as part of a supportive team
This is on‑the‑job learning with strong support from experienced Technicians and our In-House Technical Trainers.
What We’re Looking For
- Automotive industry experience (highly regarded)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and confidence using hand tools
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Excellent work ethic and reliability
- Comfortable engaging with customers and promoting company products
- Passion for delivering outstanding customer service
- Must be able to drive both Automatic and Manual vehicles
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills
- Commitment to personal development and achieving results
