About The Role

Roles & responsibilities

The role plays a critical part in building our brand in the digital space through the day-to-day management of KPMG Canada’s official social media channels including (but not limited to) LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram YouTube. ​

Community Management ​

  • Schedule posts, monitor and respond to basic inquiries posted to official KPMG social media accounts. ​
  • Collect and deliver insights from the social media conversation back into KPMG.

Social Media Monitoring ​

  • Use the social media monitoring tools for the early identification of emerging industry trends, potential threats and opportunities, providing feedback and alerts. ​
  • Collaborate with Social Media Community Coordinator on development of campaign and program-based social media monitoring reports for Canada marketers and communicators.

Research ​

  • Scan social media communities for engagement opportunities for KPMG senior leaders. ​
  • Skim through the competitor's social media channels and share a report highlighting the posts performance and key topics. ​
  • Collect insights from social conversations that could be used to inform the development of engaging social media content. ​

Social Media Reporting ​

  • Development of monthly analysis report within agreed timeframe and with complete accuracy ​
  • Produce and deliver social media flash alert on a timely basis for marketers and other stakeholders ​

Risk Management ​

  • Ensure compliance with Risk policies and process in content posting and response. ​
  • Early identification of potential risk issues that may impact the KPMG brand and ensure that relevant stakeholders are immediately engaged, and appropriate response mechanisms are used. ​
  • Ensure quality standards and guidelines are being properly and consistently adhered to. ​

  • Educational qualifications
  • Graduate / Post Graduate in relevant field ​
  • Work experience
  • The candidate must have to 0-1 year of relevant experience in managing social media communities for B2B or B2C companies. ​
  • Mandatory technical & functional skills
  • Project and Team management exposure
  • Credible record of operating as part of a team
  • Experience in the measurement and analysis of social media and/or website performance. ​
  • Excellent written communication and data interpretation skills to prepare and present

Preferred technical & functional skills

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. ​
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Marketing or Digital Marketing. ​
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word. ​
  • Proficiency in French is an asset. ​
  • Familiarity with generative AI and AI agents

Content publishing

  • Uploading documents, content and links to the external website
  • Working within agreed SLAs
  • Uploading content assets and creating web pages accordingly
  • Uploading and amending imagery as required
  • Making bulk content and metadata changes
  • Building pages according to KPMG design standards and incorporating content as required
  • Applying metadata to uploaded content and content assets
  • Assisting the digital marketing team with data collection and reporting

Preferred technical & functional skills

  • AEM 6.5/ AEM Cloud
  • Familiarity with generative AI and AI agents
  • Not mandatory but good to have knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Good understanding and experience of other content management systems a plus
  • Competent knowledge of SEO, usability and web accessibility principles

Educational qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar area of study.

Work experience

The candidate must have to 0-1 year of relevant experience in a similar role, particularly in a professional services firm/IT company/internal portal/content teams within key technology companies/procurement function.

  • Problem solving skills; ability to drive through to an outcome in circumstances of complexity and ambiguity.
  • Goal driven - should be focused on helping clients meet their requirements.
