Job Summary
The Ecommerce Director is responsible for leading the overall ecommerce strategy and digital commerce growth of the organization. The role focuses on driving long-term revenue expansion through online channels, strengthening digital capabilities, and ensuring alignment between ecommerce operations and overall business strategy. The position oversees ecommerce performance, digital transformation initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver sustainable growth and strong customer experience across all online platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and lead the overall ecommerce strategy and roadmap for business growth
- Drive revenue performance and expansion across all digital and online sales channels
- Oversee ecommerce operations, digital marketing, and online customer experience
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with marketing, supply chain, IT, and operations teams
- Identify and implement digital transformation initiatives to improve ecommerce capabilities
- Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape to guide strategy
- Manage relationships with key ecommerce platforms, partners, and external stakeholders
- Ensure optimization of product assortment, pricing strategies, and promotional activities
- Lead and develop ecommerce teams to achieve performance and business objectives
- Establish KPIs, monitor performance, and ensure alignment with overall company goals
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- Extensive experience in ecommerce, digital commerce, or online retail leadership roles
- Strong background in digital strategy, online sales growth, and platform management
- Proven experience leading teams and managing cross-functional initiatives
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and business development skills
- Experience in FMCG, retail, or consumer goods industry is an advantage
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and decision-making abilities
