About The Role

Lead Solutions Architect would lead the end-to-end architecture, design governance, and technical transition of MVP applications into secure, scalable, production-grade enterprise solutions. The role would drive architecture decisions across applications, integrations, platform services, security, and deployment patterns to enable a robust multi-tenant SaaS operating model. The architect would ensure the solution aligns with enterprise standards for scalability, resilience, security, performance, observability, and maintainability across Azure-based environments and coordinated delivery with partner engineering teams.

Architecture Strategy & Solution Design • Lead end-to-end architecture design across application, platform, integration, and security domains. • Define and govern target-state architecture for production-grade SaaS platforms. • Establish architecture principles, standards, and reusable design patterns. • Review and approve key technical designs, integration patterns, data flows, and deployment strategies. Application Modernization & SaaS Enablement • Drive transformation of MVP / prototype applications into production-ready platforms. • Define architecture for multi-tenant SaaS deployment, tenant isolation, configuration strategies, and shared services. • Guide database evolution, caching, API design, platform services, and system decomposition. • Partner with engineering and product teams to prioritize architectural runway and reduce technical debt. Cloud, Integration & Security Architecture • Architect cloud-native solutions on Azure, with awareness of equivalent patterns in AWS where required. • Define secure integration approaches including APIs, identity federation, secrets management, and network controls. • Ensure security-by-design across application architecture, cloud services, data access, and DevOps pipelines. • Support API gateway, observability, and reliability architecture decisions. Governance & Engineering Leadership • Lead architecture review boards, design assurance checkpoints, and technical governance forums. • Provide technical leadership to development, DevOps, QA, and partner delivery teams. • Ensure alignment between business objectives, product roadmap, and technical execution. • Support release governance, quality gates, CAB readiness, and long-term platform sustainability. Required Technical Skills • Enterprise & Solution Architecture | Advanced — application architecture, distributed systems, APIs, integration patterns, architecture governance • Azure Cloud | Advanced — App Services, Functions, Storage, Key Vault, Entra ID / AAD, networking, monitoring • SaaS / Multi-tenant Design | Advanced — tenant isolation, shared services, data partitioning, scalability patterns • Security Architecture | Advanced — IAM, RBAC, secrets management, Zero Trust principles, secure integration design • DevOps & Release Architecture | Proficient — CI/CD, deployment strategies, environment design, observability, release quality gates • Data & Integration | Proficient — relational databases, migration patterns, APIs, event-driven and service-based integration models Required Experience • Minimum 12 years of professional experience in software engineering / solution architecture. • Proven experience in defining and governing architecture for enterprise-grade digital platforms. • Strong experience in scaling MVP / prototype applications into secure, production-ready solutions. • Hands-on experience with cloud-native application architecture, integration strategy, and non-functional architecture. • Experience enabling SaaS and multi-tenant architectures for enterprise or external-facing products. • Proven ability to drive architecture governance across multiple teams and delivery partners. • Experience in security, performance, resilience, and observability architecture for business-critical systems. Preferred (Not Required) • Experience in digital product engineering within infrastructure, consulting, engineering, or environmental sectors. • Exposure to GIS / geospatial systems, map services, or spatial data platforms. • Experience with AI-enabled applications, document intelligence, or data platforms. • Experience working in partner-led or multi-vendor delivery models.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. 14+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering, architecture, or enterprise solution design.
