Senior Engineer, Geotechnical Engineering (Tunnelling works)

WSP is looking for Candidate who should hold experience minimum of 10+ years on Geotechnical engineering with specialization in Tunnelling works, underground structures, excavation and lateral support (ELS) systems

Carry out detailed design of tunnels and underground structures in soft ground and hard rock, including TBM, Drill & Blast and Mined Tunnels Carry out geotechnical and structural analysis for the proposed design Prepare submission reports for the detailed design including reports, drawings and specifications Coordinate with CAD team to prepare the drawings Formulate the preliminary construction methodologies based on geological and site constraints Other duties as assigned/required.

Education - Masters in Geotechnical Engineering Chartered Civil/ Geotechnical Engineer (MICE or equivalent) 10+ years of relevant design experience in geotechnical, tunnels, underground structures and excavation and lateral support (ELS) systems Sound knowledge in geotechnical and structural engineering Familiar to use geotechnical and structural engineering software including but not limited to PLAXIS, FREW, SAP2000, FLAC etc. BGV: Employment with WSP India is subject to the successful completion of a background verification (“BGV”) check conducted by a third-party agency appointed by WSP India. Proficiency in English Strong communication, presentation, leadership, and project management skills.
