About The Role

The Chief Maintenance Officer (CMO) is responsible for providing strategic leadership, governance and operational oversight of all operational maintenance activities across AML's operations and sites. The role ensures optimum availability, reliability and performance of fixed assets, mobile equipment, industrial infrastructure and support facilities, through the implementation of maintenance best practices, asset management systems and continuous improvement initiatives. The incumbent will develop and execute maintenance strategies aligned with the company's operational objectives while fostering a culture of operational excellence, safety, environmental stewardship and workforce development. As a senior expatriate leader, the CMO will collaborate closely with executive management and department heads to maximize asset utilization, reduce downtime, control maintenance costs and support sustainable operational growth.
