About The Role
Woodbridge Financial Analysts are responsible for the following
- -
- Analyzing client financial statements and data such as sales and supplier transactions to identify any issues that must be addressed when presenting the company to buyers
- -
- Adjusting financial statements according to standard M&A market practices
- -
- Preparing financial forecasts based on client order backlog and sales pipeline, and any reasonable assumptions discussed with the client
- -
- Preparing financial write-ups that explain company performance as well as the assumptions supporting forecasts
- -
- Tracking clients’ performance while they are in market or under LOI
- -
- Interacting with time-sensitive business owners/entrepreneurs and C-level executives to obtain, discuss and clarify information
- -
- Proactively managing client expectations
- -
- Collaborating with colleagues from other departments working on the same deal and keeping them informed of material developments
- -
- Regularly reporting to management on the status of each deal they are working on and any potential issues or roadblocks that arise

- Thorough understanding of US GAAP

- Background in financial analysis, M&A, business administration, accounting, or auditing
