About The Role

Job details Proposed designation-Assistant Manager Role type-Quality Mentor Reporting to Manager and above Geo to be supported-KRC - KDN Work timings-9:00 AM to 5:30 PM IST

Lead planning and execution of quality monitoring program, including end-to-end oversight of quality reviews. Act as the primary contact for quality performance and metrics tracking within the business unit Review audit files and workpapers to identify gaps, document findings, and drive timely escalation and resolution with stakeholders Oversee preparation of quality reports, dashboards, and scorecards, and analyze data to identify KPIs, trends, risks, and actionable insights to enhance visibility into team performance and operational effectiveness. Share regular quality updates and insights with stakeholders across geographies, guiding conversations on key focus areas and next steps Work with business unit and central teams to roll out quality initiatives, strengthen capability, and support the Quality Champions network Promote the use of digital solutions, represent the business unit in quality forums, and uphold KPMG’s ethical standards and values Identify opportunities for process improvements and support implementation of corrective actions. Ensure compliance with SoQM controls, firm policies, and quality standards across all assigned tasks and reviews.

Educational qualifications Professional Chartered Accountancy qualification (<e.g.CA/ACCA/US> CPA). Work experience 3 - 4 years of post qualification experience in external audit, including exposure to audit quality reviews and engagement monitoring Experience in SoQM (System of Quality Management) reviews, implementation, or monitoring activities, with understanding of firm-level quality frameworks Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and contributing to audit quality, risk, or compliance initiatives Mandatory technical & functional skills Strong understanding of auditing standards, risk assessment frameworks, and regulatory expectations. Advanced analytical skills to interpret quality review results, identify systemic issues, and recommend sustainable improvements. Experience in reporting, dashboards, and stakeholder communication. Understanding of independence, ethics, and firm quality control standards, with practical application. Preferred technical & functional skills Working knowledge of continuous improvement frameworks (Lean, Six Sigma) with practical application Experience with data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) to derive insights and support decision-making Exposure to global audit practices or cross-geography engagements
