About The Role

Provides analysis of electric transmission policy topics including planning, cost allocation, system operations, reliability, resource adequacy and other issues within the Southwest Power Pool, and also other Regional Transmission Organizations (RTOs) of interest to the Company. Researches, analyzes, interprets and distributes information on RTO-related transmission policy matters. Senior RTO Policy Analyst assumes an increasing amount of independence and personal responsibility for meeting the Company’s strategic goals and business plan objectives, including ownership of discrete RTO or other regulatory issues and/or processes and increased engagement in written and verbal advocacy at the direction of the Manager of RTO Regulatory Strategy (SPP) (“Manager”). Monitors, and/or represents the company at the direction of the Manager at RTO stakeholder committee and task force processes and other stakeholder and industry events. Participates in internal and external collaboration.
