About The Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate production machinery and equipment according to established procedures.
  • Perform routine equipment inspections and basic troubleshooting.
  • Conduct quality checks and document production data accurately.
  • Follow all safety, health, and environmental regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Report equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or quality issues to supervisors.
  • Meet production targets and deadlines as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in manufacturing or construction a plus.
  • Forklift experience a plus.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills, strong math skills, and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using drills, saws and small hand tools efficiently and safely.
  • Proficiency in reading and using tape measures.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Adherence to all safety policies and protocols.
  • Ability to work mandatory overtime as needed.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift 20-50 pounds on a continual basis.
  • Ability to safely operate drills, table saws and hand tools.
  • Ability to stand on concrete for up to 10 hours a day.

Leer is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Production Operator to join our production team. The Production Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining production equipment to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality manufacturing of products. This role supports daily production goals by following standard operating procedures, quality standards, and safety regulations.
