Non-Functional Testing Lead Overview This is technical role, and candidate must be able to work with teams in multiple geographic locations. Good communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with senior technical and management personnel within the projects. Must have experience and knowledge of how to run technically challenging & highly visible Non-Functional testing engagements. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Overall responsibility of Performance & Chaos Engineering Tasks for engaged projects - including estimation, planning, execution, metrics reporting and risk management. Responsible for selecting/maintaining and integrating the appropriate set of tools, processes and procedures to ensure overall testing efficiency and effectiveness in the operations. Ensure NFR test scripts, assaults and scenarios are developed according to the identified test objectives that are in line with the Service Level Agreements specified in the Non-Functional requirements document(s). Identify and implement framework and toolsets to optimize test execution, expand test coverage, and reduce risk. Produce and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) around the testing performed. Manage best in class service quality for performance testing Lead a continuous process improvement within the team and at the project level reviewing trends, data, etc. Partner with Technical Project Management in the development of test plans, solutions and send status communications. Monitor quality risks and escalate, as required. Provide regular status reporting consistent with established program governance requirements. CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS: 10+ years' experience in Non-Functional Testing (Performance and Chaos Engineering) Area. 1-2 years of experience in handling multiple (2-3) projects at a time. In-depth knowledge and working experience on OpenText LoadRunner Enterprise & Apache JMeter Hands-on experience with Chaos Monkey, Toxi-Proxy, Gremlin and Azure Chaos studio Able to perform the analysis using the industry standard APM tools like Dynatrace Experience working on Waterfall as well as Agile testing methodology. Experience with multiple architecture, technology testing and with complex projects. Experience managing onshore/offshore and in a matrixed model. Experience working in a global team in a vendor dependent model and hence should be a good collaborator. Experience with one or more coding language ( JAVA, etc) with some Development background will be an added advantage – Excellent written and oral communication.
