To perform the essential functions of the business office and provide support to the Business Coordinator.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

Preferred: High school diploma and some college

Experience

Required: Accounting /bookkeeping experience or education

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential

  • Answers incoming telephone calls and transfers them to the respective departments and voice mails.
  • Prepares daily bank deposits.
  • Registers participants and accepts payments for department programs.
  • Accepts payments to member accounts. Makes changes to member accounts as directed.
  • Handles member complaints.
  • Balances daily sales transactions with deposit.
  • Maintains member files.
  • Types and distributes letters, reports and other documentation.
  • Files documentation.
  • Assists in accounts receivable collection procedures.
  • Assists in care, maintenance and cleanliness of department equipment and supplies.
  • Attends in-service and staff meetings as required.

Additional

  • Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care and services appropriate to the population served on the assigned unit or work area.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Pay Range

  • $19.59 -$29.39
