About the role

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our growing team and support a fast-growing fintech company building secure, scalable financial systems. The ideal candidate has deep hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and modern DevOps practices, with a strong focus on security, reliability, compliance, and cost efficiency.

This role will be responsible for designing and operating production infrastructure, improving observability and CI/CD, strengthening incident response, and embedding PCI DSS v4.0 requirements into infrastructure and engineering workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and manage production-grade infrastructure in AWS.
• Build, scale, and maintain Kubernetes environments for critical services.
• Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
• Drive observability through monitoring, logging, tracing, and SLI/SLO implementation.
• Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and reliability improvements.
• Embed PCI DSS v4.0 compliance into infrastructure and delivery workflows.
• Implement security best practices, including IAM, RBAC, secrets management, and encryption.
• Drive cloud cost optimization and improve infrastructure performance and efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and security teams to support platform growth.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS.
• Deep production experience with Kubernetes.
• Proven background in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering roles.
• Experience working in regulated environments, including PCI DSS or similar frameworks.
• Strong experience with observability, automation, and infrastructure as code.
• Experience with Terraform or similar IaC tools.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure security best practices.
• Strong ownership mindset with focus on performance, security, and cost efficiency.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Availability to work full-time in a remote setup.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Azure.
• Experience in fintech or payments.
• Familiarity with FinOps and cloud cost management practices.
• Experience with service mesh or policy-as-code tools.
