Sewing Machinist - Shift 1

Global International Trading is a manufacturer of made-to-measure window blinds and a wholesaler of blind materials and components. Trading under the Style brand and based in Needham Market, near Ipswich , we are looking for hardworking, motivated, and energetic people to join our production team as a Sewing Machinist on Shift 1 , working Monday to Friday (06:00 to 14:00) .

Your Role

As a Sewing Machinist, you will be involved in the production and assembly of our made-to-measure window blinds, operating industrial sewing machines and ensuring products meet our high-quality standards.

Key responsibilities include

• Operating industrial sewing machines to manufacture window blinds and components.
• Following production specifications and quality standards.
• Inspecting finished products to ensure a high standard of workmanship.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Meeting daily production targets.
• Working effectively and communicating positively with colleagues across the production department.

Key Qualities

• Previous sewing machine experience preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt.
• Manufacturing experience desirable but not essential.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
