This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Learning Operations and Compliance Lead based in the United States.

This role will own the operational backbone of the organization’s learning ecosystem, with a strong focus on Workday Learning and enterprise compliance <training.You> will serve as the primary subject matter expert for learning technology, ensuring programs are well-governed, scalable, and easy to administer.The position combines hands-on platform administration with compliance management, reporting, analytics, and process <improvement.You>’ll translate learning data into actionable insights that help People & Culture and business leaders understand program effectiveness.The role works cross-functionally with HR, Legal, IT, vendors, and business stakeholders in a collaborative, enterprise-wide <environment.You>’ll also have the opportunity to improve learner experiences and strengthen operational standards across onboarding and broader development programs.This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced learning operations professional who enjoys ownership, structure, technology, and continuous improvement.

Accountabilities

Own the administration, maintenance, optimization, and day-to-day governance of Workday Learning, serving as the organization’s primary subject matter expert.

Manage learning assignments, campaigns, engagements, learning paths, events, learner records, and other core learning operations within the platform.

Lead enterprise compliance training programs, including onboarding, annual, quarterly, and role-specific initiatives, while managing completion tracking, communications, escalations, and audit readiness.

Develop and maintain dashboards and reports covering compliance, onboarding, participation, and learning effectiveness, translating data into clear insights and recommendations.

Provide recurring learning and compliance reporting to People & Culture and business leaders to support informed decision-making.

Establish and maintain learning operations processes, documentation, governance standards, and best practices.

Identify opportunities to simplify administration, improve learner experiences, strengthen data quality, and increase operational efficiency.

Partner with HR, Legal, IT, business leaders, and learning technology vendors to resolve operational issues and support integrations and platform improvements.

Contribute to broader enterprise learning initiatives, including onboarding, leadership development, mentoring, and other employee development programs.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience, with 7–10 years of experience in Learning Operations, LMS Administration, Learning Technology, Learning & Development, or a closely related field.

At least 5 years of hands-on Workday Learning administration experience, including managing learning paths, campaigns, engagements, assignments, and learner records.

Demonstrated experience managing enterprise-wide compliance training programs, including reporting, completion monitoring, communications, escalations, and audit preparation.

Strong reporting, dashboard development, data analysis, and data interpretation capabilities, with the ability to turn learning metrics into actionable business recommendations.

Experience supporting global or multi-region learning programs and working with stakeholders across different functions and business environments.

Strong project management, organization, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage multiple operational priorities effectively.

Excellent attention to detail and a structured approach to governance, documentation, process management, and continuous improvement.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, particularly when working with HR, Legal, IT, business leaders, and external technology vendors.

Experience developing learning operations processes, governance frameworks, and documentation is preferred.

Familiarity with Articulate Rise and/or Storyline is a plus, as is experience supporting onboarding, leadership development, mentoring, or broader enterprise learning programs.

Benefits

  • Annual salary: $110,000–$125,000 USD, with actual compensation determined by factors such as experience, qualifications, performance, business needs, and geographic location.
