This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Recruiter based in Canada.

This is a strategic, full-cycle recruiting role supporting a broad range of teams and seniority levels across North <America.You>’ll partner closely with HR Business Partners, hiring managers, and senior leaders to shape hiring strategies and secure exceptional talent.The role combines hands-on recruiting with talent advisory, market intelligence, stakeholder management, and continuous process <improvement.You>’ll have significant autonomy to lead complex, confidential, and hard-to-fill searches while adapting your approach to each business <need.As> a senior member of the recruiting function, you’ll also mentor peers and help elevate sourcing, interviewing, and candidate management practices.The environment is fast-paced, collaborative, and growth-oriented, with an emphasis on thoughtful decision-making and an outstanding candidate experience.This remote opportunity is ideal for an experienced recruiter who brings strong executive presence, business acumen, and a genuine passion for building high-performing teams.

Accountabilities

Own full-cycle recruitment: Lead end-to-end recruiting processes across North America, from sourcing and screening through interviewing, offer negotiation, and closing for roles at varying levels and across multiple functions.

Develop search strategies: Conduct kickoff meetings with hiring managers and HR partners to clarify requirements, define candidate profiles, assess market conditions, and establish effective hiring approaches.

Advise senior leaders: Partner directly with senior and executive stakeholders, providing market insights, candidate slates, hiring recommendations, compensation guidance, and interview strategy.

Manage complex searches: Take ownership of challenging, confidential, and high-priority searches while exercising sound judgment and adapting the recruitment process to each situation.

Mentor recruiting peers: Coach and support other recruiters by sharing best practices across sourcing, interviewing, candidate engagement, and candidate management.

Strengthen the candidate experience: Deliver a high-touch, authentic, inclusive, and professional experience throughout the recruitment journey and help establish consistent standards across the recruiting team.

Manage stakeholder communication: Maintain proactive communication with candidates, hiring managers, HR partners, and senior leaders to ensure transparency, alignment, and timely decision-making.

Use recruiting data: Leverage talent acquisition metrics and recruiting insights to evaluate performance, identify opportunities, and improve hiring outcomes.

Drive process improvement: Monitor recruiting trends and AI-enabled tools and lead initiatives that improve processes, strategy, efficiency, and overall recruiting effectiveness.

Promote consistency and compliance: Support structured hiring through scorecards, standardized processes, timely feedback, and accurate documentation within Workday.

Stay adaptable: Adjust sourcing strategies, assessment approaches, and recruiting processes based on the unique requirements of each search and evolving organizational priorities.

Requirements

Recruiting experience: 10+ years of relevant full-cycle recruiting experience, including substantial experience hiring for senior, specialized, hard-to-fill, or confidential positions.

Education: Bachelor’s degree required.

North American recruiting: Extensive experience recruiting across multiple functions and organizational levels, including senior-level searches throughout North America.

Executive presence: Demonstrated ability to communicate confidently, credibly, and concisely with senior and executive leaders.

Strategic talent advisory: Strong business acumen and the ability to understand organizational needs and translate them into effective talent strategies.

Stakeholder management: Proven ability to manage complex relationships with hiring managers, HR partners, senior leaders, candidates, and external stakeholders.

Leadership and mentoring: Experience mentoring or informally leading other recruiters and contributing to the development of team capabilities.

Search management: Ability to independently manage multiple complex searches in a fast-paced environment without compromising quality, responsiveness, or candidate experience.

Independence and judgment: Comfortable operating autonomously and making sound decisions in ambiguous or high-stakes situations.

Adaptability: Growth-oriented mindset with the ability to evolve recruiting approaches in response to changing business needs and market conditions.

Industry expertise: Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with recruiting practices, technologies, trends, and AI-enabled talent acquisition tools.

Technology: Experience with Workday is preferred.

Global experience: International or global recruiting experience is strongly preferred.
