Sr. Dot Net Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Dot Net Engineer based in Brazil.

This is a senior software engineering opportunity focused on building and enhancing financial applications using modern Microsoft <technologies.You> will develop scalable web services and microservices while contributing to responsive front-end experiences.The role combines backend engineering, data modeling, ETL, cloud technologies, API integrations, and automated <testing.You> will work with C#, .NET Core, Entity Framework, SQL Server, Azure, React, and TypeScript across a modern technology environment.The position offers significant technical ownership and the opportunity to contribute to reliable, maintainable, and high-quality <software.You> will collaborate with experienced professionals in a remote, flexible, and goal-oriented environment.This role is well suited to a curious senior engineer who enjoys solving challenging problems and continuously developing their technical expertise.

Accountabilities

• Develop and maintain web services and microservices using C#, .NET Core, Entity Framework, and SQL Server.
• Build and enhance solutions running in cloud environments, with a strong focus on Azure.
• Contribute to ETL processes and data modeling to support financial application requirements.
• Assist in developing and maintaining responsive React applications optimized for desktop browsers and tablets.
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following SOLID principles and modern TypeScript practices.
• Integrate third-party APIs and ensure reliable communication between application components and external services.
• Develop unit and integration tests to support software quality, reliability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with other engineers and project stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and contribute to continuous improvements across application performance, architecture, and development practices.

Requirements

• Senior-level software development experience with .NET and Python.
• Strong professional experience with C# and .NET Core, including web services and microservices development.
• Experience with Entity Framework and SQL Server.
• At least 2 years of experience working with React.
• Strong cloud development experience, preferably with Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with TypeScript and modern front-end development practices.
• Familiarity with Storybook.js.
• Experience working with APIs, automated testing, and integration testing.
• Strong understanding of clean-code principles, SOLID design principles, and maintainable software architecture.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a distributed team.
• Flexible, curious, and comfortable tackling complex technical challenges.
• Experience with Material UI, GraphQL, Styled Components, global styles, or themes is a plus.
• Previous experience in fintech or financial applications is advantageous.
