This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr Technical Account Manager - East based in United States.

This is a senior, highly technical client-facing role supporting a small portfolio of strategic enterprise <accounts.You>’ll act as a trusted technical advisor, helping customers architect, operate, and scale complex AI and data platforms.The role combines hands-on architecture and troubleshooting with strategic account planning and executive-level <communication.You>’ll collaborate closely with Customer Success, engineering, product, and client technology teams to turn business priorities into effective technical <solutions.You>’ll also contribute to the evolution of field engineering practices through documentation, process improvement, and knowledge sharing.The environment is fast-moving and technically sophisticated, with opportunities to influence innovative approaches across cloud, data, MLOps, and AI.This position is ideal for an experienced architect who enjoys solving complex customer challenges while building lasting technical partnerships.

Accountabilities

Partner with Customer Success teams and customers to identify immediate and long-term priorities and establish appropriate technical engagement plans.

Manage technical milestones and deliverables, provide regular status updates, and proactively identify and mitigate risks or issues.

Maintain a centralized view of customers’ technical environments and contribute to account strategy alongside broader account teams.

Serve as a primary technical advisor to customers on platform architecture, deployment, expansion, operations, upgrades, security, data management, compute resources, MLOps, monitoring, and best practices.

Troubleshoot platform implementations within customer environments and provide hands-on technical guidance when required.

Advise customer technology leaders on companion technologies, architecture decisions, and broader technology strategies.

Ensure customer feature requests are accurately captured and communicated to product and R&D teams.

Support innovative technical approaches, including edge computing, deep learning, and advanced MLOps use cases.

Strengthen the scalability and effectiveness of the field engineering organization through robust documentation, process optimization, and peer knowledge sharing.

Build trusted relationships with technical stakeholders while confidently communicating complex concepts to both technical and executive audiences.

Contribute to both pre-sales and post-sales activities, helping customers understand the technical value and possibilities of the platform.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical, architecture, solutions engineering, or similar role.
  • Demonstrated confidence and effectiveness working directly with enterprise customers and senior technical stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting both pre-sales and post-sales engagements.
  • Strong Linux systems administration experience, including networking fundamentals.
  • Hands-on knowledge of authentication and authorization technologies such as LDAP, Kerberos, Active Directory, and IAM.
  • Practical experience with cloud services and environments such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Hands-on experience with the Kubernetes ecosystem, including setup, administration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
  • Experience with Hadoop and/or Apache Spark ecosystems, including deployment, administration, troubleshooting, and tuning.
  • Strong communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on technical execution and remain effective in challenging customer situations.
  • Nice to have: Python experience, familiarity with Java, and knowledge of MLOps.
  • Ability to manage multiple strategic accounts while maintaining strong organizational discipline and attention to technical detail.

Benefits

Competitive U.S. base salary range of $150,000–$200,000, with final compensation determined by factors including location, experience, skills, education, training, and internal equity.
