Accountabilities
- Analyze credit portfolio performance using business, risk, and profitability indicators to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
- Develop ad hoc quantitative studies and analyses to support strategic business and credit decisions.
- Propose, implement, monitor, and continuously improve credit policies and related strategies.
- Identify opportunities to automate analytical processes and increase operational efficiency.
- Transform complex datasets and analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for business stakeholders.
- Monitor portfolio performance and investigate relevant changes or anomalies, supporting proactive decision-making.
- Contribute to initiatives focused on sustainable portfolio growth, risk management, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to ensure analytical insights are effectively incorporated into business decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Previous experience in financial analysis, accounting, credit analysis, or a closely related analytical role.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL for data extraction, querying, and manipulation.
- Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, lookup functions, charts, and data analysis.
- Ability to interpret data and transform quantitative findings into practical business recommendations.
- Knowledge of descriptive statistics and fundamental quantitative analysis concepts.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with an investigative and curious mindset.
- Proactive and autonomous approach, with strong organization and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Results-oriented mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with data visualization tools and dashboard development, particularly Power BI.
- Knowledge of Python, PySpark, and VBA.
- Experience with credit decision engines, credit policies, or financial institutions.
- Knowledge of corporate credit products, such as credit cards and working capital solutions.
- Familiarity with statistical techniques including regression, ROC/AUC, KS, and time-series analysis.
- Exposure to quantitative methods, causal inference, and model monitoring.
