This role serves as a strategic, consultative partner to a complex portfolio of financial institution clients using data and marketing <technology.You>’ll help organizations turn platform capabilities, campaign performance, and customer data into measurable business outcomes.The position combines client relationship management, marketing strategy, data analysis, and SaaS customer <success.You>’ll work directly with operational stakeholders and executive influencers, building trusted relationships that support adoption, retention, and growth.Success requires translating complex insights into compelling value stories, strategic recommendations, and actionable success <plans.You>’ll collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, Implementation, Support, and other internal teams to deliver a unified client experience.This is an opportunity to influence both individual client outcomes and the evolution of a broader customer success practice.
Accountabilities
- Serve as the primary consultative partner for an assigned portfolio of complex B2B clients, aligning data and marketing solutions with their strategic objectives.
- Lead recurring strategy, planning, and performance discussions with operational and senior stakeholders to understand goals, challenges, KPIs, and opportunities.
- Recommend data-driven marketing strategies, campaigns, and optimization approaches based on client objectives, platform capabilities, and performance insights.
- Analyze platform usage, campaign results, and other client data to identify trends and translate findings into clear business outcomes, growth opportunities, and ROI stories.
- Build and deliver Quarterly Business Reviews that demonstrate realized value, highlight progress against objectives, and establish priorities for the next period.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive client success plans that define objectives, milestones, desired outcomes, and progress measures.
- Build multi-threaded relationships across client organizations, including day-to-day contacts, senior stakeholders, executive influencers, and internal champions.
- Cultivate client advocates who support continued adoption, loyalty, and expansion of the solution.
- Monitor client sentiment, engagement, health, and advocacy, proactively addressing concerns and mitigating risks before they affect retention.
- Execute established renewal processes, including health reviews, risk identification, and corrective action plans, to support retention objectives.
- Identify and pursue upsell and expansion opportunities, including opportunities to extend relationships into additional solutions.
- Coordinate engagement across Product, Marketing, Implementation, Support, and other internal teams to provide a cohesive, client-centric experience.
- Advocate for client needs internally and escalate critical issues to the appropriate leaders and departments.
- Maintain accurate client information, activities, health indicators, and engagement records using Customer Success and CRM platforms.
- Follow established cadences for client touchpoints, QBRs, internal reviews, and portfolio management to ensure consistency and accountability.
- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing by documenting successful approaches, best practices, playbooks, and repeatable processes.
- Travel up to 25% as needed to support client and business requirements.
Requirements
3–5+ years of relevant experience in Client Success, Account Management, Marketing Strategy, or another client-facing role, with demonstrated success independently managing a complex portfolio.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Data/Analytics, Communications, or a related field.
Experience serving as a strategic or consultative partner to B2B clients, preferably within SaaS, martech, adtech, data-driven marketing, or a related technology environment.
Demonstrated ability to use data and insights to inform marketing strategies, campaign optimization, and business recommendations.
Strong understanding of digital marketing tactics and performance metrics, including email, programmatic advertising, targeting, segmentation, and related approaches.
Proven ability to manage diverse client portfolios while effectively prioritizing work across different account sizes, complexities, and lifecycle stages.
Strong relationship-building skills and confidence engaging both operational contacts and executive-level stakeholders.
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to transform complex data and technical concepts into clear, compelling business narratives.
Experience leading client presentations, business reviews, strategic planning sessions, or similar executive-facing engagements.
Proficiency with Customer Success and CRM platforms such as Gainsight and Salesforce, as well as collaboration tools such as Google Workspace, Jira, Confluence, and Slack.
Strong organizational skills, ownership, attention to detail, and follow-through in a fast-paced, remote, and continuously evolving environment.
Ability to quickly learn new products, technologies, industries, and client requirements while maintaining a high level of performance.
Preferred: experience working with financial institutions, digital banking, fintech, or financial technology.
Preferred: hands-on experience with data-driven marketing platforms, campaign management tools, or customer intelligence solutions.
Preferred: exposure to programmatic digital advertising, personalization, predictive analytics, or related technologies.
Candidates must be eligible to work full-time in the United States; employment sponsorship is not available for this position.
