About The Role

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a VP, Solution Architecture based in the United States.

This is a senior leadership opportunity responsible for shaping solution architecture strategy across a high-growth enterprise technology <environment.You> will lead and develop a team of Solution Architects while partnering closely with sales, product, delivery, and engineering organizations.The role combines technical leadership, executive advisory, customer engagement, and go-to-market <strategy.You> will architect secure, scalable solutions spanning ServiceNow, endpoint management, cloud, security, and enterprise IT ecosystems.A key focus will be translating complex customer requirements into compelling architectures, business cases, and measurable <outcomes.You> will engage directly with C-suite stakeholders, influence strategic decisions, and help accelerate pipeline growth and customer adoption.The position is ideal for an experienced technology leader who combines deep architecture expertise with commercial acumen and strong executive presence.

Accountabilities

Lead the Solution Architecture organization: Manage, mentor, and develop a team of Solution Architects, driving performance, effective resource allocation, operational efficiency, and technical excellence across the function.

Shape field and go-to-market strategy: Define solution architecture priorities in partnership with sales, product, delivery, and other stakeholders to strengthen pipeline development, revenue growth, and customer outcomes.

Advise executive stakeholders: Engage C-level and senior customer leaders to understand strategic priorities and position integrated enterprise solutions that align technology capabilities with business objectives.

Architect enterprise solutions: Design secure, scalable, resilient architectures leveraging ServiceNow capabilities—including ITSM, ITOM, SecOps, GRC, Discovery, CMDB, and IntegrationHub—as well as endpoint management and security platforms.

Lead technical discovery: Facilitate discovery workshops, architecture reviews, technical assessments, and gap analyses while developing reference architectures and maintaining high-quality solution documentation.

Drive proofs of concept: Design and deliver prototypes, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept engagements that validate proposed architectures and help customers make informed technology decisions.

Build commercial value propositions: Partner with value engineering teams to develop ROI and TCO models, competitive assessments, executive proposals, and business cases supporting strategic opportunities.

Enable sales teams: Coach account teams on solution-selling approaches, provide technical guidance throughout the sales lifecycle, and identify post-sale adoption and expansion opportunities.

Strengthen customer success: Monitor relevant internal and customer-facing KPIs, promote transparency and accountability, and help ensure solutions deliver measurable business value after implementation.

Advance solution assets and innovation: Guide the development of reusable go-to-market materials, reference architectures, and solution artifacts, incorporating AI-enabled tools and emerging technologies where appropriate.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

Architecture experience: 5–8 years of experience in solutions architecture, pre-sales engineering, technical consulting, or a related field, ideally involving ServiceNow and/or enterprise endpoint management platforms.

Leadership: Demonstrated experience managing or leading technical professionals in a fast-paced, sales-oriented environment, with a strong record of mentoring and developing high-performing teams.

ServiceNow expertise: Proven experience delivering consulting engagements across ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, SecOps, GRC, Discovery, CMDB, and IntegrationHub.

Platform integration: Experience integrating ServiceNow and endpoint management technologies with Microsoft ecosystems using REST APIs, webhooks, middleware, or comparable integration technologies.

Technical architecture: Strong capabilities in enterprise architecture, CMDB modeling, security architecture, system performance, scalability, and resilient solution design.

Commercial acumen: Experience developing ROI/TCO models, competitive positioning, executive proposals, value-selling strategies, and customer journey plans across the sales cycle.

Platform knowledge: Strong understanding of endpoint management and security capabilities, including asset management, patching, compliance, threat response, and deployment.

AI and emerging technology: Experience using AI-based tools to create go-to-market materials, solution artifacts, or other scalable technical assets.

Communication: Excellent workshop facilitation, presentation, written communication, and executive engagement skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at the C-suite level.

Leadership mindset: Demonstrated initiative, integrity, adaptability, collaboration, and the ability to operate effectively in a rapidly changing environment.

Stakeholder management: Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to align sales, engineering, product, delivery, and customer stakeholders around shared objectives.

Benefits

  • Base salary: $263,000–$403,000 annually, depending on factors such as location, education, skills, training, and experience.
