About The Role

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Client Representative / Customer Service & Benefits / WFH based in the United States.

This is a 100% remote opportunity focused on helping individuals and families understand and access insurance <benefits.You> will combine customer service, benefits education, enrollment support, and long-term relationship management.The role involves scheduled virtual and phone appointments with individuals who have requested information, rather than traditional cold <calling.No> prior insurance experience is required, with comprehensive training, licensing guidance, and mentorship <provided.You> will work independently while remaining connected to a collaborative virtual team and ongoing coaching resources.Compensation is performance-based, with weekly commissions, bonuses, and potential renewal and residual income opportunities.The role also offers a potential career path into training, mentoring, leadership, and management based on performance and initiative.

Accountabilities

  • Meet with qualified clients through scheduled Zoom and phone appointments to understand their needs and priorities.
  • Explain available life, accident, and supplemental health insurance benefits in a clear, professional, and client-focused manner.
  • Answer questions, provide benefits education, and guide clients through the application and enrollment process.
  • Conduct benefit and policy reviews and assist with beneficiary updates and ongoing service requests.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships through responsive and professional service.
  • Maintain accurate digital records and ensure timely follow-up communications.
  • Work with individuals and families who have requested information, focusing on service and relationship development rather than cold calling.
  • Follow applicable organizational procedures and state insurance requirements.
  • Participate in virtual onboarding, product training, coaching, licensing preparation, and ongoing professional development.
  • Develop the skills and knowledge required to progress toward potential roles such as Benefits Specialist, Trainer/Mentor, Team Leader, or Management.

Requirements

Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional, positive, and engaging approach.

Customer-focused and relationship-oriented mindset, with a genuine interest in helping clients understand their options.

Strong work ethic, personal accountability, dependability, and follow-through.

Excellent time-management and organizational abilities, with the capacity to manage appointments and client communications independently.

Comfortable working remotely and communicating with clients through Zoom, phone, and other digital platforms.

Basic computer proficiency and access to the technology required for virtual client interactions.

Coachability and willingness to learn new products, processes, and insurance concepts.

Previous experience in customer service, administration, hospitality, retail, healthcare, education, banking, call centers, client relations, military service, management, or sales is helpful but not required.

Leadership or management experience is welcomed, particularly for candidates interested in future advancement.

Must be at least 18 years old and physically located in the United States.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Must have a computer or laptop with a webcam and microphone, reliable high-speed internet, and a quiet, professional workspace.

Must be willing and able to obtain any required state Life & Health Insurance License; licensing guidance is provided.
