SUMMARY

Responsible for buff and polish of finished goods to obtain desired finishes on products

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• -
• Knowledge of all finishes available and desired quality

• Responsible for quality control on all product before and after work is done to prevent loss further down the production line.
• Responsible for understanding, all machinery, tools and materials needed to produce each job.
• Maintain quota set by supervisor.

EXPECTED PRACTICES

• Clean and maintain work area. Including daily cleaning of machines.
• Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use. Report any irregularity of machines and or product.
• Report any unsafe practices.
• Works in a team environment.
• Attendance and punctuality.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Basic knowledge and understanding of guitar components and nomenclature
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand 100% of an 8 hour shift.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds required.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Working conditions are normal for this type of manufacturing environment. Environment can be dusty, loud and potentially hazardous at times. During those times employees are highly recommended to use safety equipment to include but not limited to; respiratory protection, eye protection, hearing protection, and clothing appropriate for this work environment. Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted.
