About The Role

Our client, the European Union Agency for Law Enforcement Training (CEPOL), is an agency of the European Union dedicated to developing, implementing and coordinating training for law enforcement officials. The Centre is located in Budapest, Hungary. Civitta in cooperation with with I-DEAL Informatikai, Szolgáltató és Kereskedelmi Kft. is providing temporary staffing services to the agency.
Communications Assistant
As a Communications Assistant at CEPOL, you will provide administrative and creative support to the Communications Team. Working under the supervision of the Head of Unit, Strategic Planning and Directorate, you will help create engaging content, support CEPOL’s digital communication channels, and assist with the planning and organisation of meetings and events.
You will
Support the creation of engaging content and graphic design, including illustrations, layouts for digital and printed materials, and visuals for web and audio-visual products
Support the development, structuring, and content population of the CEPOL intranet and SharePoint environment, ensuring clear and user-friendly internal communication
Support the dissemination of internal communication content across the intranet and other digital channels
Draft editorial content, communication messages, and related collateral
Support video and photo editing activities
Support the distribution of promotional items
Provide administrative assistance for the planning and organisation of meetings and events at CEPOL, including preparation of meeting documents, PowerPoint presentations, logistical arrangements, and matters related to the distribution of branded merchandise
Requirements
University degree of at least 3 years of study
Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience
Good writing, editing and proofreading skills
Experience in the development and production of printed and online publications, and in video conception and production
Experience managing website and intranet content, and using social media in a professional environment
Advantageous: experience working in an EU institution, agency or similar international environment; familiarity with the institutional framework of the European Union in the areas of justice and home affairs
Proficiency in MS Office (particularly MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint) and experience with office management systems.
Excellent command of English (B2 level or higher)
Benefits
Full-time temporary role from 16 September 2026 until 15 December 2026 (possible extension based on operational needs)
Salary: EUR 3,071.64 gross per month
