About The Role
Overview
We’re looking for experienced welders to support fabrication and production work in a high-paced manufacturing setting. This role involves working with various welding processes, assembling components, and ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform welding using MIG, TIG, wire feed, spot welding, and oxy-acetylene methods
- Prepare, clean, and finish welds to meet quality standards
- Read blueprints and layout materials for fabrication or modification of parts
- Operate grinders, sanders, and other finishing tools
- Fabricate and weld structural components such as I-beams, frames, and tanks in multiple positions
- Assemble components using clamping, bolting, drilling, tapping, and cutting techniques
- Inspect materials, welds, and equipment for quality and functionality
- Adjust welding machines, including wire and gas settings, as needed
- Maintain welding tools and equipment, reporting any issues for repair
- Assist with pressure testing and rework when required
- Track completed work and time accurately
- Communicate any production, safety, or quality concerns to leadership

Qualifications
- Prior welding experience preferred (level will be evaluated through testing)
- Familiarity with fabrication tools and welding equipment
- Basic math and measurement skills
Education & Certifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
MIG certification preferred
TIG experience or certification is a plus
Trade school or vocational training is an advantage
