We are looking for a Technical Portfolio Engineer to join the Portfolio Operations team in Thessaloniki , a cross-sector team that delivers REO monetization strategies by managing the technical maturity process of large portfolios from onboarding through commercialization, contributing to a fast-growing and dynamic advisory and asset management company focused on real estate distressed investments across Europe.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Portfolio & Engineering Consultant Management
- Manage the end-to-end technical maturity process of large real estate portfolios from onboarding through commercialization.
- Maintain and manage an established network of external engineers and technical consultants, ensuring a readily available pool of qualified resources.
- Appoint external consultants, assign technical due diligence reports, and coordinate all actions required for asset legalization.
Technical Due Diligence & Legalization Oversight
- Review all technical reports and legalization process deliverables to ensure accuracy, completeness, and full regulatory compliance.
- Advise clients on optimal technical maturity routes and provide clear, actionable guidance on legal, technical, commercial, and regulatory matters.
Process Monitoring & Performance Tracking
- Monitor the progress of the technical maturity process and maintain KPIs to ensure timely and efficient completion, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
- Liaise with planning authorities and other relevant stakeholders when required, proactively navigating complex bureaucratic processes.
Sales & Commercial Support
- Support the sales closing process by providing technical guidance and ensuring all due diligence is complete, contributing to a smooth transition to finalize the transaction.
- Collaborate effectively with Project Managers, Asset Managers, and Real Estate Strategy teams to seamlessly align technical maturity activities with portfolio commercialization goals.
Professional Experience / Qualifications
- BA/BSc/BEng in Civil, Topographical, Architectural Engineering is required; MEng is a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in technical Due Diligence, legalization, or/and the Real Estate industry.
- Experience in project management is a plus.
- Excellent understanding of legalization laws and practices.
- Strong team working skills and adaptability to different environments.
- Proven ability to take ownership, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
- Native Greek and fluent English (written and spoken).
- Proficiency in MS Office and relevant technical tools.
