About the Role
As a Project Manager / Estimator, you’ll play a key role in managing multiple commercial drywall and framing projects from concept through completion. You’ll oversee budgets, schedules, and coordination efforts while ensuring every project meets the company’s high standards for quality and client satisfaction.
This position blends project management and estimating, giving you the chance to work hands-on with both operations and preconstruction teams—ideal for professionals who enjoy seeing the full project lifecycle.
What You’ll Do
- Lead all phases of commercial drywall and steel stud framing projects—from planning and estimating to execution and closeout.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and documentation.
- Build strong relationships with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure clear communication and seamless project delivery.
- Perform material takeoffs and develop detailed cost estimates using On-Screen Takeoff and Quick Bid software.
- Track project performance, control costs, and proactively manage change orders.
- Contribute to estimating and bidding strategies to help win new business and strengthen the company’s market presence.
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in project management within commercial drywall and/or steel stud framing.
- Familiarity with estimating processes and software, especially On-Screen Takeoff and Quick Bid.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- A degree in Construction Management or related field is a plus, but not required.
