Part-Time Showroom Sales Associate

At Nadeau Furniture with a Soul, no two pieces of furniture are the same — and neither are our team members. Our Chicago location is looking for a Part-Time Showroom Sales Associate who’s equally comfortable helping customers on the sales floor and handling the physical side of store operations.

This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and perfect for someone who enjoys staying active while still connecting with customers.

What You’ll Do

• Assist customers in finding one-of-a-kind furniture & décor (no cookie-cutter pieces here!)
• Support daily warehouse operations, including receiving, organizing, and moving inventory
• Safely lift and move furniture (50+ lbs regularly)
• Help maintain an organized, efficient stockroom and sales floor
• Assist with merchandising and floor flow
• Collaborate with team members to meet sales goals

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be willing and able to lift furniture weighing 50+ lbs on a daily basis
• 1–2 years of retail or sales experience required
• Basic math and computer skills required
• Comfortable engaging with customers and closing sales
• Weekend availability is a must
• Flexible schedule
• Professional, positive, and able to follow direction
