How you’ll make an impact
Provide essential administrative and clerical support to ensure the efficient operation of various departments within Hitachi Energy Japan. This role is crucial for maintaining organizational effectiveness and facilitating smooth day-to-day activities.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage and organize physical and electronic files, documents, and records.
- Prepare, edit, and proofread correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including phone calls, emails, and mail.
- Order and maintain office supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Assist with data entry, spreadsheet management, and basic accounting tasks as needed.
- Support team members with various administrative tasks and projects.
- Maintain a professional and organized office environment.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including confidentiality protocols.
Your background
- Business fluency in Japanese and English language.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or relevant certification preferred.
- Proven experience in an administrative support role, preferably within a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Discreet and professional with a strong sense of confidentiality.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with office equipment (e.g., printers, scanners, fax machines).
