Project Executive

ORIGIN is currently hiring South Florida Project Executives. This role is the lead position for a given project or number of projects and will be the senior manager with oversight of the entire project team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure ORIGIN's quality of standards are upheld on every project
• Leads the preconstruction and RFP package process along with estimating team
• Negotiates terms and conditions of contracts with clients
• Coordinate all ORIGIN processes and procedures with project team
• Organizes proper responsibility assignments of project personnel
• As needed, support team members with subcontractor issues
• Monitors all project deliverables and updates accordingly
• Ensures timely completion of closeout process
• Maintains positive relationships with the subcontractor community
• Acquires new work through operations and relationships

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in commercial construction, including experience with a commercial GC, preferably in South Florida
• A four-year degree with a concentration in construction, engineering, or business is strongly preferred.
• Previous experience in a project management role with the ability to execute multiple projects and/or simultaneously
• High level of aptitude with Microsoft Office suite, ProCore, BlueBeam, and Microsoft Project.
• Expert in reading construction drawings
• Ability to organize necessary resources, including people, tools and time to meet deadlines and budgets
• Knowledge of current market conditions including pricing conventions and trends
• Possess an "entrepreneurial spirit" and be self-driven
• Extremely strong communicational skills (both written and oral)
• Approach all situations with a customer service oriented attitude
