HireNow Staffing is actively recruiting a seasoned, highly skilled Strategy & Operations Associate (Finance) on behalf of a valued client partner in the fintech security AI startup sector. HireNow Staffing is acting as a direct placement partner for this Strategy & Operations Associate opportunity.

We are seeking a highly analytical, high-agency operator who can work directly with executive leadership to build the financial and operational backbone of a fast-scaling company. This role requires strong forecasting skills, executive communication, strategic judgment, and the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives with minimal direction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner directly with the CEO and Finance leadership on strategic initiatives including revenue forecasting, bookings analysis, and headcount planning
  • Support annual planning cycles, monthly business reviews, and company-wide goal tracking processes
  • Own, refine, and report core business KPIs that measure performance and execution across functions
  • Build executive-ready board materials, investor presentations, dashboards, and operating updates
  • Lead complex cross-functional projects spanning Finance, GTM, Product, and Operations teams
  • Conduct scenario planning, resource allocation analysis, and performance trend reviews
  • Identify operational gaps and implement scalable planning processes
  • Step into strategic special projects, including product or market opportunity analysis when needed
  • Improve decision-making cadence through clear analytics and structured recommendations

Required Qualifications (Highly Important)

  • 5–6 years of experience in Strategy & Operations, Strategic Finance, BizOps, Consulting, Banking, Private Equity, or high-growth startup finance roles
  • Strong preference for backgrounds from MBB consulting, top-tier firms, or elite operating environments
  • Proven experience with financial forecasting, revenue modeling, bookings analysis, and operational planning
  • Strong analytical horsepower with advanced Excel / spreadsheet modeling capability
  • Demonstrated ability to independently lead complex cross-functional initiatives
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication with executive-level polish
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous startup environments
  • High ownership mindset with strong judgment and execution discipline
  • Stable employment history with clear progression; candidates with jumpy resumes will not be considered

Preferred Qualifications (Strongly Valued)

  • Experience from high-growth technology companies, YC alumni companies, or VC-backed fintech startups
  • Prior experience at organizations with high operating bars such as Stripe, Brex, or similar companies
  • MBA from a top-tier business school
  • Prior founder or early-stage startup experience
  • Familiarity with SQL and/or Python for business analysis
  • Experience preparing board materials or working directly with executive teams
  • Strong understanding of SaaS / fintech KPIs and recurring revenue models
  • Experience in Office of the CEO or strategic chief-of-staff style environments

HireNow Package

  • Base Salary: $170,000 – $210,000 (flexibility for exceptional candidates)
  • Additional Compensation: Equity + comprehensive benefits package
