Automotive Software Design Leader

MISSION

IDIADA is looking for a highly motivated Software Design Leader for automotive projects.

The position will be based in our customer facilities in Göteborg (Sweden). You will work with a team of system and software engineers. You will work closely with a team of engineers, leading software development activities between OEM and Tier1 suppliers, and will be responsible for completing all software development milestones.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Your main responsibilities will be (for the functions mentioned above)

• Lead and plan software development activities with the supplier
• Act as the main SW interface between supplier and internal stakeholders
• Manage resources and project tracking
• Monitor quality standards and ensure compliance with OEM requirements
• Lead risk management and change management activities
• Coordinate technical discussions with supplier
• Ensure successful delivery of all SW project milestones for testing and integration
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in software development processes and methodologies
• Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions between supplier teams and internal engineering groups

Profile Requirements

• More than 3 years of proven experience in a SW Lead role working for Tier1/OEMs
• Experience with requirements management tools
• Experience with task management tools (e.g. JIRA)
• Understanding of Functional Safety (ISO 26262)
• Experience in ASPICE
• Strong problem-solving and leadership skills
• Experience in Diagnostics and Communication protocols
• Proven track record in managing cross-functional and distributed software teams
• Strong stakeholder management and conflict resolution abilities
• Experience in Braking systems is an asset

Education

• University degree: Bachelor or Master Degree in Engineering. Specialised in Electronics, Mechatronics or Telecommunications.
• Strong knowledge of C programming standards and coding rules
• Language Skills: Fluent English
• Other languages will be asset.
