Role summary
We are looking for an independent individual who can work in a fast-paced environment with strong coordination and execution skills to manage full spectrum of HR function and reports to Global Head of People. The individual will have two primary areas of responsibilities (1) people operations and (2) stakeholders management.
Responsibilities
Details of the two aspects of the role are highlighted below
(1) People operations
- Manage day-to-day operations
- Maintain HR and employees’ records
- Drive recruitment activities by partnering with hiring managers to attract, assess, and hire qualified candidates in a timely manner.
- Manage end-to-end onboarding and offboarding process for employees, contractors and vendors
- Handle payroll, leave management, and support people team administration activities
- Ensure compliance with regulations in all operations
- Conduct HR research and admin work which include but not limited to salary benchmarking, insurance, compensation and benefits related
- Provide strong support to drive performance management, employee engagement and retention initiatives
- Support budgeting exercises and headcount planning
- Support regional expansions and develop regional HR policies
- Support annual audits
- Collaborate with legal team to review contracts which include but not limited to employment, contractors and vendors
(2) Stakeholder management
- Manage external stakeholders, which include but not limited to Employers of Records, payroll vendor, insurance brokers
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders such as global employees, HR and leadership team
Role specific technical competencies
- Must be able to handle sensitive data with high level of discreet and confidentiality
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (e.g., excel, word, PowerPoint)
- Strong in organisational and coordination skills
- Possesses good analytical and numerical capabilitiesStrong knowledge of employment related regulations and compliance, especially in India
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, Strong command in English
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong independency with minimal supervision required, but also able to work as a team player
- Responsible,self-driven and high attention to detail
Qualifications (training, licences, memberships and certifications)
- Diploma or Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 5 – 7 years of core operations experience
- Knowledge of HRIS platforms, particularly BambooHR, is an added advantage
