About The Role

Position Overview

Color Correctors (located at County Line Auto Body) is seeking a hands-on Working Manager to lead daily operations while actively participating in detailing services. This role is ideal for a motivated leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, maintains high-quality standards, and can balance team management with production responsibilities. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who leads from the front, takes pride in delivering exceptional results, and is passionate about growing both the team and the business. This individual should be equally comfortable polishing a vehicle as they are managing staff and interacting with customers.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Production

  • Perform high-level detailing services including paint correction, ceramic coatings, interior restoration, and vehicle protection services
  • Ensure all vehicles meet Color Correctors’ quality standards before delivery
  • Maintain workflow efficiency, scheduling, and job prioritization
  • Monitor equipment, chemicals, and inventory levels

Team Leadership

  • Supervise, train, and mentor detailing technicians
  • Lead by example with strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Assign daily tasks and ensure productivity goals are met
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching

Customer Experience

  • Communicate with customers regarding services, timelines, and expectations
  • Handle customer concerns professionally and ensure satisfaction
  • Assist with upselling services such as ceramic coatings, paint protection film (PPF), and maintenance packages

Sales & Business Development

  • Support sales efforts by recommending appropriate services
  • Build relationships with dealerships, fleet accounts, and repeat clients
  • Track job profitability and contribute to revenue growth initiatives

Administrative Duties

  • Manage scheduling, estimates, and invoicing
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop

Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of professional automotive detailing experience
  • 1–3+ years in a leadership or supervisory role preferred
  • Strong knowledge of paint correction, polishing systems, and protective coatings
  • Experience with PPF and tint (or willingness to learn is a plus)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
