77,755.92 - 93,307.10 USD Per Year Working Location

Redwood City: Mental Health Rehabilitation Center (In-person position) Working Hours/Shift

What you bring to SBHG (qualifications)

Education / Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a social science field plus two (2) years of experience working in a behavioral health field is required.
  • Master’s degree in a social science field preferred.

License or Certification

  • Occupational Therapist (OT), Music Therapist, Art Therapist, Dance Therapist or Recreation Therapist.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Valid California Driver’s License and current automobile insurance and must maintain a driving record that meets the company driver's eligibility policy.

How you will make a difference (job overview)

The Rehabilitation Therapist is responsible for providing direct and indirect rehabilitation services to participants. These services are provided through individualized and/or group activities for participants.

Division/Program Overview

  • MHRC is a 16 bed, inpatient program that provides intensive support and rehabilitative services.
  • The individuals served are 18-64 years old with mental health struggles that have necessitated placement in a state hospital or other intensive behavioral health facility.
  • Comprehensive behavioral health and psychiatric services are provided by a multidisciplinary team.
