Deli Assistant

• We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Full Time Deli Assistant to join our team at the newly renovated SPAR Cherrywood.
• As a Deli Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality service and delicious food offerings to our valued customers.

The Role

• Prepare and serve a variety of fresh and appetising deli products, including sandwiches, salads, and hot food items
• Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained at all times
• Assist customers in selecting deli items and provide information on product offerings
• Operate deli equipment such as slicers, ovens, and fryers in a safe and efficient manner
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including deli display cases and storage areas
• Collaborate with team members to meet customer needs and achieve sales targets
• Follow established recipes and portion sizes to uphold food quality and consistency
